Who You Will Talk To

Distributionfault Walk-In Tubs is a referral service. We do not send out crews. After you contact us, you speak with an independent provider in our network. That provider is a separate business. They run the visit, the quote and the job.

What the Provider May Ask

Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider plan.

  • What do you want: a walk-in tub, a shower, or a swap for your old tub?
  • Who will use it? Do they need a seat or a wide door?
  • How big is the bathroom?
  • Is the home older? Is the floor on a basement or a slab?
  • When would you like to start?

Photos of the room can help. So can a rough tape measure of the space.

Questions Worth Asking

You are hiring someone to work in your home. Ask plainly. Here are some good starters:

  • Can I have the quote in writing?
  • What does the price include? What could add to it?
  • Do you hold the license my town requires?
  • How will you handle water, drains and the floor under the tub?
  • How long will the job take? Will the bathroom be out of use?
  • What warranty comes from the maker, and what comes from you?
  • Can you fit this to my older house?

Costs vary by job. Get a written quote before you agree to anything.

You Stay in Charge

You choose the provider. You choose the plan. You can say no. Talking to a provider does not lock you in. Take your time to compare, especially if you are planning ahead for winter.
